Jesus Christ came to earth to bridge the gap between humanity and God. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers us forgiveness, hope, and eternal life.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth as a human being. He lived a perfect, sinless life and taught us about God's love and kingdom. Jesus performed miracles, healed the sick, and showed compassion to all people. He is both fully God and fully human, sent by the Father to save humanity from sin.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us."
John 1:1, 14
Jesus came to earth with a divine mission: to reconcile humanity with God. Because of sin, we were separated from God and destined for eternal death. But God, in His infinite love, sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins through His death on the cross. Jesus took upon Himself the punishment we deserved, offering us forgiveness and the gift of eternal life.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
Three days after His crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead, conquering sin and death forever. His resurrection proves that He is the Son of God and that His sacrifice was accepted by the Father. Through His resurrection, Jesus offers us new life and the promise of eternal life with God. Death no longer has power over those who believe in Him.
"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay."
Matthew 28:6
Knowing Jesus begins with faith. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and that He rose from the dead. Confess your sins to God and ask for His forgiveness. Invite Jesus into your heart and commit to following Him. When you do this, you become a child of God, filled with His Holy Spirit, and begin a new life in Christ.
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:9
Following Jesus means living a life transformed by His love and grace. It means reading His Word, praying daily, gathering with other believers, and sharing His love with others. Jesus promises to be with you always, guiding you through every challenge and blessing you with His peace. As you grow in your relationship with Him, you'll experience the abundant life He promised.
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
